If you'd like to make an artistic portable fire barrel out of an old 55 gallon drum (find one that wasn't used to store paint), there's a burn barrel workshop in Boulder on May 2nd. The main focus is making barrels for Apogaea, Colorado's regional Burning Man event (held not too far from our new location), but if you bring your own barrel, they'll help you get going.

Come out to Phoenix Asylum on May 2nd, 1-5pm for a Burn Barrel Workshop!!!!

At the workshop, we'll have all the tools and materials needed to make brand spanking new burn barrels for Apogaea. We need artists to draw sweet designs, people welding, people cutting rebar & barrels and people making 'lids' for the barrels. There will be many 'work stations' where you can work side-by-side with other fun people.

Bring gloves, regular eye protection & welding eye protection if you have them. Bring your whole theme camp and design a barrel matching your theme. Bring a smile, get ready to have fun and meet some new family.
