Has a decision been made about parking at our campsites? I know that we have all been spoiled in the past, by having our cars near by; but if we have to lug our coolers back to the car every night, that will impact how we plan.
I realize that the site visit was just last weekend, but I am looking at upgrading some of our equipment, and if I have to carry stuff for a ways, it will affect what we do. The sooner we can get a definite yes or no, the better.
BTW: The site is beautiful, it has great mountain vistas!

The property owner says we don't need to worry about bears, so you don't need to schlep your coolers to and from your car. Watch out for smaller critters, though. Aim for raccoon proof, but not bear proof.
The land is pretty sensitive, so we really want to limit driving. If you can, please park in the parking lot near the entrance (after dropping off supplies for your campsite). We're asking folks to stick to one vehicle per camp, preferably on a spot that would be bad for pitching a tent (e.g., lots of rocks).
So plan to drop of everything you need for the weekend at your campsite, then park in the lot until it's time to pack up again.
