Why: To help out the Community, raise a little money and have lots of fun!

Over the years, many of us have created a rather large stockpile of camping gear as we get ready for Dragonfest. Well, what do you with those tents, stoves, sleeping bags that are still good but that you have replaced or just don’t use any more? Well, for all of the equipment you might have, there is someone who is without. The Retreat is in the same boat. What do you do with ten giant coolers when you have refrigeration truck on hand? Easy! You have a giant swap meet. Our Landfund has put this event together to help out folks in this tough economy and to help the Retreat dispose of stuff we just don’t use anymore.

Anyone can bring any camp equipment or ritual stuff (In decent working condition) to barter/trade/sell. Dragonfest will have some of its excess equipment on hand for barter/trade/sale. We are asking sellers to donate $3.00 from their first sale to the Dragonfest LandFund. Funds from sales after that are yours to keep. We hope to turn this event into a yearly community event where everyone can save on what they need for the Retreat.

Dragonfest will also be having a BBQ sale to help raise funds for the Landfund. Hamburger/hotdog/gardenburger, beans, potato salad, chips and the like will be available for a VERY moderate price.

Dragonfest also has other events planned through the day for your enjoyment.
Kids Drum Circle: 1-2 pm Drummers will be on hand to help the kids
Chant workshop: 2-3pm
Drumming Circle: 3-5pm
