As you may know, inflation has impacted many industries, which in turn increases our operating costs. After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to adjust Dragonfest’s membership prices to reflect rising operating costs. This change will help us continue providing the quality experience you expect. You can view the updated pricing and all membership tiers on our website.
In addition to the membership price adjustment, we’ve restructured our hot breakfast offering. Going forward, members will have the option to sign up for a separate breakfast plan if they wish to enjoy a hot breakfast in the mornings. By separating food costs from attendance fees, we’ve been able to keep the membership price increase small, while also ensuring more accurate breakfast planning. This change will help reduce food waste by providing our kitchen staff with a precise count of those who want hot breakfast each day. We will continue to offer coffee, hot water, oatmeal and oatmeal “fixins” for free.
We’ve introduced two levels for the meal plan to accommodate the main membership tiers:

Associate Level – $20: Weekend-only breakfast plan

Regular Level – $40: Full retreat breakfast plan
Additionally, if a parent or guardian purchases a meal plan, all children they bring with them will receive a free breakfast plan, even if only one adult opts for the plan. And of course, the Community tent is open for anyone to sit and eat breakfast together whether they purchased a breakfast plan or brought their own to the table!
As always, Dragonfest will continue to offer a few membership scholarships each year, as well as staff discounts. We deeply value your continued support and look forward to welcoming you to our 40th Dragonfest retreat this year!
