I remember the Japanese rope thing. I was there. It was late at night long after all legitimate vendors should have gone home. If some vendor complained, perhaps that vendor should be asked what he/she was doing in Dragonfest (in area 5!) at that hour.
I've never seen anyone ... imagining ... in public anywhere. I suspect some of those stories are more the product of a vivid imagination than actual fact. For illustration, see the first paragraph.

We left a site with a river but no lake.
We ended up at a new location with a Lake. WOW
It has been wonderful. It is something to enjoy and use with respect to the lake and to the land where it is located. It is not to be taken advantage of.
If the lake and land serve others also, who have other needs, we need to understand that and be respectful of them. We can still use and enjoy the lake and it's energy. We can do so taking into consideration all the others who use the lake and the energies we are leaving behind. This is not against us, as Pagans, this if for others who need to be considered also.
If we are being told that our usage is not appropriate for the lake and land and those who are using all of it, I think it is important to be respectful of them.
It is sad to not get to use the lake as we have before and it is still there and still can be used, differently and still in a sacred way.
One day, we will move onto a new and different site, with different needs, different things for us to enjoy. There may be no lake, or river.
So, while we are here, let's enjoy it and also be respectful of the others who use the lake and enjoy it.
Yes, it is sad. Yes it is a huge thing for some of the people at D-fest and we will still be able to get together , to ritual, be Pagans together and celebrate our time together in an incredible setting.

This is a change, there must be a reason She is bringing it to us.

Trevor cooked 10 pounds of bacon in the NUDE? Are you nuts? I am deathly afraid of splattering bacon grease even with clothes on! I am also not allowed to use knives while naked and I'm not even a guy.
