Registration is Open for 2026!
Registration for the 2026 retreat is now open. Beginning this year, registration will be open nearly year-round. It will close about a week before the retreat and re-open a few weeks after the retreat. Dragonfest 2026 will be Wednesday, July 29th to Sunday, August 2nd.
Even more exciting, 2026 registration is available at 2025 pricing for a limited time! Once new prices are announced in 2026, this deal will end, so sign up early if you can!
Board Election Results
Congratulations and Welcome to our new board members for 2026!
This year, we had 3 board seats to fill, as one was vacated early and the terms of two members had ended. Katrina Bishop, Tanna Sage and Vanth Angeles are our newly elected board members. We would also like to thank outgoing members Henri Kaplan and Aeneas for their service.
The officers and members for 2026 are as follows:

Tanna Sage – Vice President
Carroll Fanning – Treasurer
Vanth Angeles – Secretary
Katrina Bishop – Member at Large
Mark Lewis – Member at Large
Midwinter Gathering
Greenman Mike, Director of Operations, would like to get the community together between now and next year’s retreat. He’s looking for folks to help plan the event. We don’t have the details nailed down yet, but that’s where you come in! We are thinking that the best time would be around Imbolc. A location has not been chosen yet, but it will be somewhere indoors, in the Denver Metro area. If you are interested in helping to plan this event please email Mike at Ops@dragonfest.org.
Looking Ahead
Although we don’t officially start planning next year’s retreat until January, now is a good time to start thinking about what you’d like to see at Dragonfest next year. Please send your ideas for Workshops, rituals and other activities to Ops@dragonfest.org. We’d love to hear your ideas! Bonus points if you want to lead your suggested workshop, ritual or activity.

If you would like to be part of the team of volunteers that makes our retreat possible, start thinking about what you would like to do. Here is a list is a list of volunteer opportunities. Check back in this newsletter in the coming months to sign up for a position. Remember, staff gets discounted membership to the retreat!
